Get started using Hooks

All the Hooks on the Hooks Store are audited by XRPL Labs, and you need a Xaman Wallet with SIDEX chainchain enabled to use them.

Install and login with your Xaman Wallet

Hooks on the Hooks Store are installed using Xaman Wallet. Each Hook is installed on your account and you can have a maximum of four Hooks installed.

Enable CHAINX in Xaman

CHAINX is an sidechain that uses core XRP Ledger technology, which enables advanced transaction features, including using Hooks.

Select a Hook and tap “Configure”

Open Hooks Store from the xApp directory to find the Hook you want to install and tap “Configure”. This will open a separate view where you can configure the Hook before installing it on your account.

You can see the transaction fee at the bottom of the page. After you click the install button you sign the installation transaction.

You are now using Hooks!

After signing the installation transaction the Hook is installed and immediately activated on your account. You can find you installed Hook in your xApps directory.

You can uninstall the Hook at any time or change the configuration (changes need a new signed transaction).
